Overview
About Me
I'm relaxed and easygoing by nature. I like to see the best in people, and I tend to get along comfortably with people of all ages.
I grew up on a steady dose of meditation and Reiki, and this is still a large part of me - I teach Reiki and practice hypnotherapy for a living! So if you probe enough I could fill you in with lots of interesting stories :)
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
My parents took us traveling all over the world and we'd always stay with locals. It widens your horizons, and teaches you so much about the world and people. We've always hosted people and been hosted. Couch surfing for me is just an extension of that.
Interests
I love food - both cooking as well as trying out different cuisines. Alcohol or meat don't interest me though.
I also have a bit of a creative streak, and I write, also poetry, I paint in oil or charcoal when I get inspired. I can sing a bit, learned (and mostly forgotten) basics of classical Indian music and dance, and more recently learned Salsa, Bachata, Tango etc.
I love meeting friends and spending time together, although going to pubs or parties and drinking is really not my thing.

Music, Movies, and Books
Wide and varied. I like pop, not much into rap. Enigma, Savage Garden, Robert miles have been favorites in the past... Now I mostly listen to sacred music and instrumentals.
Books? Anything that was written from the heart. The Power of Now by Eckhart Tolle is on top of that list.
Favorite movie would be Peaceful Warrior and I love TV series like Castle & White collar.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Do astral travel and telepathy qualify?
Don't worry, I won't try to read your mind ;)
In my work, I heal people, so transforming lives is a routine part of my life.
As for travel, the highlight would be Kailash Mansarovar, which was more challenging than fun.
The big fountain in Barcelona took my breath away and Budapest stole my heart. And Melbourne is my favorite city!
Teach, Learn, Share
I would love to cook for you, teach you how to cook easy Indian foods, wear a saree, do a few simple but effective yogasanas and tell you interesting Indian mythological stories. I've traveled a bit in India, so I'd be happy to share travel tips and guidance for traveling in India.
I would love to know the stories and the culture of your country, what the basic principles of life are, how you think, and maybe learn a few things from you, esp your favourite dishes!
What I Can Share with Hosts
I'm a hypnotherapist - so I can help you get rid of phobias and what not. And having grown up in a spiritual environment, I love having deep spiritual and philosophical discussions.
