About Me

CURRENT MISSION

To spread awesome vibrations everywhere I can.

ABOUT ME

I am a musician and an artist. I'm a yoga enthusiast, and a teacher of Kundalini yoga. I love this amaizing existence and this huge ball of infinite Love and Abundance that we are blessed to tread upon.

I eat my veggies. I wash behind my ears. I smile real big. I party hard, but am not a drinker, though I can run with that crowd at times. I cook really awesome vegetarian food. I believe in aliens. I believe in you, and your mom, and your mom's mom.

I spend a lot of time in the woods. I am a professional clown and face painter. I like to DANCE!

I will like you, even if I don't.

Interests

Umm, see above post. I also work at a farmers market for a non GMO organic rice farmer. The connection this givese with my community is so priceless, I would do it for free if I could.

I hula hoop, I paint , I play guitar, bass(both upright and electric), and I sing. I can fake the piano a bit. I can re head djembes. I climb trees, write, dig in the garden and grow veggies and herbs.

I love sound! I dig jazz, funk, reggae, eastern European sounds, the sounds of Africa, bossa move, Indian classical music, electronic interweavings of all of this(definitely dubstep) bluegrass, swing, Tibetan throat singing, Samba, kirtan. Well it goes on, but I don't think there's an end to my appreciation of vibration.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I find this a bit difficult to narrow down, as I am in constant awe of the world around me, but I'll name a few key moments :)

I spent two and a half months in Southeast Asia. One month of that was spent in Vietnam and Cambodia, teaching people how to do Auricular acupuncture, the five point detoxifying acupuncture of the ear. This technique is an extremely usefull tool in treating drug addiction and post traumatic stress disorder. Working in that context, and seeing the immediate fruits of our labor(people getting the help they need to live their lives with a sense of peace) was one of the Most satisfying things I've ever done.

I was in a very successful New Orleans band for about two and a half years. Bringing that kind of energy to my community has been a driving force in my life. We were nuts in all the right ways. Immersing ourselves in the a wide range of musical styles Like Jaco Pastorius, the Alman Brothers, Frank Zappa, Coltraine, Les Claypoole, Mahavishnu Orchestra, and Cream, just to name a few, was seriously instrumental in my musical education and life.

We played a show at the famed Cafe Brazil on Haloween a few years back. The venue filled upwind hundreds of people in heightened states of revelry. We freakin rocked the house. Feeling that kind of energy coming off a crowd and giving it back to them is an experience I cannot explain without my heart fluttering in my chest.

Oh!....This moment right now.
