Hi! I'm a kind, easy going, curious, hardworker and open minded person. As a travel lover I am fascinated to discover new places and new ways of thinking. Something I learnt about myself during my travels is that I love to write about them and inform people. Change the perspective of life of people that read or hear about my stories is so joyful for me!

Making people happy makes me happy and smile is the answer for everything and the only approach to life.

My life goal for now is to meet new people and make new experiences. I love to keep my mind busy, learn new things. I think travel is the best school of life.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I subscribed to Couchsurfing first because in June 2019 I walked and hitchhiked from Padua (northeast Italy) to Madrid, with a really small budget, to test my adaptability and to awaken my survival instinct, and to test the availability of people on helping people. I had to adapt to many situations and everything have me more and more satisfaction, indipendence, freedom. Traveling without much money gives you more opportunities of self growth, test your adaptability in a constant situation of needing and it gives you the opportunity to meet more people!

I've had a bad experience here because a person wanted me to pay for the dinner although I specified I didn't have much money with me!!! If you ask money than run a hostel!

By the way I am also interested in curious events that people here organize and I hope I'm gonna be able one day to organize something cool too!

Music, Movies, and Books

I love indie music (from all around the world, USA, Russia, UK, Japan, Italy, Spain, Brazil, Venezuela...these coutries rock!), rock music and basically a lot of songs from the last century (especially 70s and 80s).

I love old cult movies, vintage style, any kind of books (not too much sentimental). My favourite books are Into the Wild and The catcher in the rye. Both of them enclose my inner spirit.
The artists I listed to more are Mac DeMarco, Mars Water, The Drums, Andymori, Bob Dylan, Eddie Vedder, David Bowie, Alvvays, Lo Stato Sociale and many others...

I love any kind of movies (except for the more sentimental ones) but I prefer the psychological-thriller and the introspective ones. The movies I really liked are Thelma& Louise, Carol, Chungking Express, Pleasentville, Eternal Sunshine of a Spottless Mind, Mister Nobody, Donnie Darko, The Truman Show, Inception, Dear Ex... I love documentaries about any kind of topic. My favourite one is "I Am Sun Mu", "Joshua: teenager vs superpower" and "Shirkers"
I also love anime a looooot!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Uhm...what I find incredible is that once at the hospital I helped an Indian woman to tell doctors she was pregnant and needed help. She couldn't speak Italian and I translated for her.

Since 2016 I visit a retirement home to take company to an old super crazy free spirited woman, she's my idol and we're writing her story together!

I worked for a non-profit organization to collect money for children in disfunctional families, this gave me a lot of satisfaction and joy.

I've hitchhiked and walked in a lot of cities, from Italy
to Madrid, so I achieved my dream and I showed to myself that I can live as a happy backpacker!

Teach, Learn, Share

I love to listen to elderly people stories and play with kids.
I can play ukulele (not very well) and I know many vegetarian recipes! I really like to play and cook for others.
As I'm very curious, I would like to have knowledge in every field, our mind is made for this, I guess 😄
I love analogic photos, so when I have money I buy fims, but when I don't I just edit the digital ones, I can teach you!

What I Can Share with Hosts

I can amuse you with stories and I can cook for you! I can also help with housework if necessary, or look after kids😄
And if you are an analogic photograph lover, I can show you how to make a digital photo look like an analogic one📸
