ABOUT ME

I'm a student of the final year at University of Maria-Curie Sklodowska in Lublin, and I'm just about to get my degree. My MA thesis is about ecological protest in contemporary American literature. Temporarily I'm an exchange student at Urbana Univeristy in Ohio.
I love food, I believe I was given some extra space in my stomach because even if I am completely full, there is always some space for ice cream or a cookie:)

PHILOSOPHY

I'd say LIVE, LOVE and LEARN are what describe my simple personal philosophy.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

So far I have been a couchsurfer only. I've traveled to different cities on the West coast of the USA, and I loved all of them together, and each of them seperately!!!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have the best experience one can ever imagine! I have only met great, open-minded people who taught me a lot, showed me a lot, and I had a lot of fun with them. I got to now about the idea of couchsuring in August 2011 and I loved it from my very first trip! So far I've prepared dinner with a Scottish chef, couchsurfed in a church (!!!), visited a Porn&Chicken pub in Chicago and I did many other crazy things!!

Interessi

Each day I find out new things that are interesting to me. First of all, I love reading, and talking to people. I love watching movies and having a juicy discussion afterwards. I love drinking with my friends as well as with strangers.
As you can see, I'm all about love:)))

Musica, film e libri

My favourite tv shows are "How I met your mother" and "Desperate Housewives", I love them for the witty sense of humor, and for the fact they keep surprising me. And nowadays it's not easy to surprise a viewer, we are being bombed with so many out-of-mind ideas all the time. Recently I've got crazy about "The Big Lebowski" and this is my favourite movie ever. Apart from that, I'm into horror movies, but only those about ghosts (no vampires and zombies!!).
Also, I'm a great fan of musicals, "Les Miserables" is the most outstanding to me. "The Phantom of the Opera" is second in the line.
Music: a friend told me about The Avett Brothers and I found them truly inspiring. I like Damien Rice as well, although he is not that powerful.
Books... so many I don't even know where to start.

I guess that living in the church with wonderful hosts in Cincinnati is among most memorable things I have ever done.

My friends laugh at me that each time I am in a great mood after having some cheering-up drinks (let's put it that way;) ) i start giving lectures on Polish history, so, i guess, i can teach you some of it:)))I would like to learn how to cook but my family has no hope I can do this... I hate to say that but all the signs on the heaven and the earth say they are right....
