Overview
About Me
I live in Warsaw but I can also show you around Lodz, which is my hometown.
I study veterinary medicine, trying to combine my passion with what I want to do for a living.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
Although my adventure with Couchsurfing has just begun (I’ve done it just once already but what a trip it was!) I believe it’s going to be a great experience. I’m an outgoing person who loves meeting new people, discovering new places and other cultures. I’m open for new experiences, always in when it comes to any crazy ideas! I’ve travelled around Europe a lot, Im right after the end of my first American trip as well. I hope the list of places I have never visited will get shorter.
I would be happy to guide you around my cities, give you some tips on your stay and share my knowledge about places I know.
Interests
As we meet in CS, traveling as a hobby is rather obvious. I like roaming around new places, unexpectedly finding fascinating spots that aren’t at the touristic top of ‘must-sees’. I really enjoy visiting the places typical for the locals, trying their cuisine, listening to their stories.
One of my hobbies is learning foreign languages, I would appreciate any occasion for practicing my English, French or some Spanish.
Music means the world to me, no matter what kind you listen to, every unforgettable memory needs to have its special soundtrack. I suppose I will never stop admiring that such beautiful masterpieces can be created by human beings. I wish I had more time and talent to reach such tops in my own experience of playing the piano. I really enjoy attending concerts and music festivals.
I like reading books and watching films, however I like to give a try to different authors and directors so it’s not an easy task to pick any particular favourite one.
I’m also fond of sports – I’ve played tennis and skied since I can remember. I like sailing, running, cycling, swimming, playing badminton, volleyball and others.
I’m planning my Erasmus for the next year, another great opportunity to discover life in a new place in a different way.
