About Me

Hello!

I am 32 year old scientist on a sabbatical. Last year I quit my job and I currently divide my time between travelling and doing science. I love outdoor adventuring, dancing, rock climbing, hiking, camping, running, math and photography (not necessarily in that order). I'm originally from Poland, and I about ten years ago I started my expat experience. Lured by adventure, curiosity for new cultures and experiences, as well as a full university scholarship, I left my country to study in Holland. I spent there wonderful seven years, and after finishing the university, I moved for a job to Washington DC, where I've enjoyed myself for three years. I am a life loving, genuine, and easy going person :)

I'm currently on a year break from work to get my fix of travelling. After listening to lots of stories from my friends about their inspiring travels done on their two wheels, I slowly but surely built up the courage to try it for myself. I hit the road in November 2016, with a bike and a friend to cycle tour around New Zealand for three months. Then I went to Melbourne, Australia, with a plan to stay for two weeks, instead stayed for two months, because I loved it so much. Now catching up with my friends in the US, and planning to move on to travel parts of Europe. This time without my bike though.

I am looking forward to meeting everyone on the road, and sharing and hearing travel stories!

Happy travelling!
