About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Get back home...or get back to California

ABOUT ME

I've tried many things in my life and I'm willing to try much more(and it doesn't refer only to the food). As a student I've got quite a lot of free time during vacations and I spend this time on traveling. I've seen quite a lot of Europe and now I'm heading to United States(just can't wait!).

The profession I've chosen will make it possible for me to continue my travels in the future. There are so many places I'd like to visit. And everywhere in the world people have teeth (or at least want to have, which suits me even better).

PHILOSOPHY

'How to solve the problem of poverty and hunger?
-Let the hungry eat the poor'

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

only good so far ;)

Interests

Dentistry is a physical occupation so if that's what You decide to do for living You have to keep fit. And that's my aim! I try to use a bike instead of car as often as possible. I use a great opportunity of living next to a park to do some jogging every day.
I love skiing and diving. There are some flooded quarries about an hour ago from where i live, but honestly, since I tried wreck diving in Mediterranean Sea, quarries are not that impressive to me any longer ;)
Lately I've started attending a climbing wall and I've got to admit it's a great fun. Worth recommending!

Music, Movies, and Books

As I don't live in a very sunny region I like books which brings a lot of sun with them. Between my favorite writers You will find Gabriel Garcia Marquez, Julio Cortazar and Vargas Llosa. I also enjoy North American authors, such as John Irving, John Steinbeck or Kurt Vonnegut. From European novelists Russians are significant. Especially Michaił Bułhakow and Fiodor Dostojewski.

At the moment I've just started Woody Allen's book, given to me by my good friend and I must admit it's hilarious!

After mentioning Woody Allen I will smoothly pass along from books to movies. The very director will be a good movie maker to begin with. From his new movies 'Match point' is my favorite but I also love 'Vicky Cristy Barcelona',though generally I prefer his older movies.

Some of the movies I'd like to watch again(possibly several times):
Out of Africa, Baraka, Amielie, Stander, Into the Wild, the Graduate, Trainspotting, Paris,je t'aime, The Big Lebowski, Triplets of Belleville, the Dreamers, Deep blue, Thelma and Louise, Heaven, Chocolat, Before Sunrise, Snatch, Lock Stock, the Mission, Match Point, Forrest Gump, Rosemary's baby, O brother, where art thou?, Pulp Fiction,Dead man walking,Bridget Jones Diary, Once, Shawshank redemption, Leon the professional, the Motorcycle Diaries, Lost in translation, Hangover, almost anything directed by Milos Forman... and many more I can't recall at the moment.

I listen to all kinds of music, depending on my mood, but I can never get bored with:
Rodrigo y Gabriela
Nouvelle Vague
Ayo
Eddie Vedder
Tribalistas
Manu Chao
Dave Matthews
Sigur Ros
Kuba Badach
Tracy Chapman

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Amazing thing I have seen?...well, let me think. Yeah- it was a mirror xD

Teach, Learn, Share

First of all- I can take care of Your teeth. I can offer free dental check and treatment if needed. I can give You some useful hints on oral cavity hygiene.
I can cook something for You, and I won't mind having You cooking something for me ;)
If You're staying for a longer period of time You ought to visit my sister in Warsaw with me. If there were any cooking competitions for dentists, she'll be unrivaled!
