About Me

Currently a law student who does her best to balance traveling and studying.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

This is my way of making myself open to life's accidents, opportunities to meet people who are willing to share their experiences and are likewise willing to listen. I like chatting with people who looks at things from a different perspective. Fresh ideas, possible collaborations and whatnot.

Interests

I used to be obsessed with planning itineraries, then I realized traveling can be much more flavorful when you don't actually have a fixed plan! I like visiting new places, interacting with the people, learning their culture... and my experiences so far led me to the conclusion that there is much need to protect the environment an the people who's lives are dependent on it. So I am now in law school, doing the daily grind.

Music, Movies, and Books

Books: Paulo Coelho, a few Mitch Albom, Haruki Murakami
Music: I like the current wave of OPM artists... Ben&Ben, Ransom Collective, and a few old artists like Frank Sinatra, the Beatles etc...
Movies: Anything but horror and superhero-movies

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I worked for an NGO and lived in Dinagat Islands for a month, doing community work and some paralegal training for the locals. When I went back to Manila and compiled the video clips I got from the "work" I did, everybody thought I went on a vacation at some paradise Island.

Teach, Learn, Share

I do a lot of travelling within the Philippines, I've visited a good number of provinces from Luzon Visayas and Mindanao. It gives you a different perspective on why things are the way they are, and how beautiful this country is!

What I Can Share with Hosts

Countries I’ve Visited

Hong Kong, Japan, Malaysia, Singapore, Thailand
