Overview
About Me
Hi I'm Asif! I hail from the Dhaka, Bangladesh which has a tropical climate. I also lived in the cold, snowy Connecticut for two years and moved to the hot, sunny Tucson, AZ about half a year ago. So far so good! Where are you from?
If you like to listen to music and have some favorite ones to recommend me, then we're instant friends! I would like to taste music from as many countries as possible and you can make the experience richer! If you like the cool robot band called Compressorhead (Google it), or Rammstein or Katie Melua or Ludovico Einaudi then, give me a hi5!
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
Because this is awesome! If I knew about couchsurfing earlier, I would have been a veteran member by now! :P
When I was a kid, I used to put my tiny finger on many countries on the atlas and used to wonder living there. That never completely came true and would probably never happen if I try it alone. But by Couchsurfing, I can meet and host you, we can tell stories to each other, become great friends and then, I know, you'll host me at your place too! Won't it be awesome????
Interests
I am music geek. I can't play any instrument sadly but I like to try out musical genres from across the world. Sometimes I think I would make a great DJ! But unfortunately I happen to be an engineer who is in a serious relationship with his computer. So if you like to talk nerdy, you can do so!
I am interested in poetry. Used to be influenced by French poetry a lot. Don't read much lately. If you appreciate good poetry and literature, please do me a favor! Tell me about them!

Music, Movies, and Books
Drama and inspirational ones are my favorites!
In movies, A Beautiful Mind, The Shawshank Redemption, The Terminal, The Roman Holiday, The Pursuit of Happyness would definitely on the list! BTW I have a huge crush on Audrey Hepburn and Catherine Zeta-Jones! <3 :P
Used to be a bookworm until I was a teen. These days I read too little. Favorite books include The Lost Symbol and The Da Vinci Code!
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I have not done anything amazing. Before I do something, it looks amazing. Once done then it stops looking amazing soon, seriously!
Less amazing things include learning to bike single handedly even I was at grade one and surviving blizzards and desert sun. I'll tell you more when we meet.
What I Can Share with Hosts
My room, bed, car, towel, toothpaste, toilet paper, stories, laughter, food, air conditioner, blanket, t-shirts, shorts, utensils, table, lamp, keys to my apartment.
Anything else...? Will update later.
