ABOUT ME

I am a medical student looking to experience the world.

Currently: recent graduate of the University of Michigan with a dual degree in biopsychology, and biomolecular science. I am pursing a medical degree back where I grew up in Kansas City.

PHILOSOPHY

And then he is so anxious about the future that he does not enjoy the present; the result being that he does not live in the present or the future; he lives as if he is never going to die, and then dies having never really lived."

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I show people the awesome town I live in and exchange stories of travel. While traveling, I enjoy exchanging stories and cultural experiences with my hosts and I appreciate an authentic local experience.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

In the past I went to several meet up events in Europe and SE Asia and enjoyed meeting the other surfers and hosts. I've also meet up with locals and have been hosted in the past.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I've worked in Israel for a summer and traveled the country, participated in the occupy movement there, slept in some random tents and met amazing people. I've also traveled a good amount of the US.

Backpacked Europe while holding a research position in Germany for the Summer of 2013. Traveled to 12 countries while there.

I am very interested in medical research, specifically psychiatry research. I have published a paper and am actively involved in research while at University.
