Overview
About Me
Hey! My name is Asiya (pronounced Aussie-Eh, but make sure the "s" sound is soft, not like "zz"). You could say it's like a Canadian saying you're an Australian: "You're an Aussie, eh?"
I love hiking, dogs, making art, dancing while I cook, trees, and the ocean. I'm currently in the 18th grade and would love to sleep on your couch.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
In the short term: I have an internship in Salt Lake City, Utah in August. I'll be driving down through California, Nevada, and Arizona and might need a cozy couch to sleep on between my camping adventures. After that I'm headed back to Portland for more internships.
In the long term: Let's be friends and make the world a smaller place.

Teach, Learn, Share
On average, our hearts beat 100,000 times a day.
I think the world would be a better place if people started listening instead of just hearing.
"Here is my secret, a very simple secret: it is only with the heart that one can see rightly; what is essential is invisible to the eye."
