Overview
About Me
I am a documentarian, working on social justice issues, also an environmentalist. Sounds serious enough, I know, but I like good talk and laugh ;)
I prefer a good conversation with one or two people instead of a full-room party.
I am not good at writing about myself - a friend of mine told me ones that he likes observing when I meet people because I am opening as the hours are passing and then apparently I am a good companion, but it takes me a bit - so writing about myself is like first 5 minutes of a conversation: I never know what to say ;)
I like people and I like traveling - probably like everybody here. I am not huge museum-goer, I'd rather sink in the local atmosphere - so I always try to stay at friend's places, and to meet new ones through couchsurfing.
One of the best feelings was when I was in Indonesia, researching for my documentary about Orang-utans, and a fellow couchsurfer from the US connected me with another one - on some small island next to Bali. No tourists, amazing experience, beers and live music in the bar just next to the beach - and new friends. This is what's the spirit of the couchsurfing is for me: to meet people I would want to meet in "regular" life, to make friends, and to make this network of people - wherever you are!
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I often travel for work because of my films - some research, meetings, filming, and to some film conferences/festivals. I like couchsurfing as it gives me a strong ground and knowledge about the place I am visiting, and I love connecting with people wherever I go.
I also want to feel the place I am visiting - and you don't do it by going to museums, you do it by simply being there.
So yeah, that's why couchsurfing ;)

The book of my life - will always be Little Prince, as it's so simple and so much wisdom is there.
Movies - I love too many of them probably, impossible to name the favorite. But I hate Star Wars Prequels. If you hate them too - there will be mutual respect :)
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Definitely snorkeling with mantas in Indonesia, and seeing one lonely turtle underwater - and around me nothing else but this deep deep blue sea... Yeah, amazing ;)

I am a VR filmmaker, so can show you some cool VR experiences (probably will have VR headset with me ;))
I can teach you some Polish language, always funny for non-Polish people, I know ;)
