I am Danish but now live in Donostia-San Sebastián. I work in a research group at the university with people from many countries. This is quite great, but unfortunately I don't know a lot of local people yet.

I like reading, both fiction and non-fiction (usually history). I listen to classical music (mostly) and play the piano when I have time. I don't watch a lot of tv/movies, but once in a while I will enjoy one.

* As seen from a plane: The vast rectangular grid of roads covering half the US mainland
* Running calculations distributed on tens of thousands of computer cores
* Completing Nethack
