About Me

Hello! Cześć! Hi! Allô! ¡Hola! Hei! I'm Aslak. I've spent most of my life so far in the regions of Nordland in northern Norway, growing up amongst the mountains and sea in Tromsø, Lofoten and Bodø. I really enjoy being in the outdoors, both on my own, but especially in the company of good friends. I am a sucker for home-baked cinnamon buns and the taste of freshly brewed coffee from an outdoor bonfire. I'm interested in other cultures, languages and traveling, and would like to expand my knowledge a lot more about these things. I am living in the south of Norway at the moment, but in summer I'll go back up north again!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Once I spent two weeks skiing through the mountains of Northern Sweden in the middle of winter on my own. It was cold, lonely and eventually pretty nice, and afterwards I felt (and smelt) like a different person.

Teach, Learn, Share

I'll teach you how to make a proper bonfire from what you find in nature, as well as how to prepare your perfect cup of norwegian "bålkaffe", coffee made on a fire.

What I Can Share with Hosts

Unfortunately, I don't have a permanent residence at the moment, so I am therefore not able to host any travellers. But - if you are nearby and feeling like hanging out and spending some time together, be sure to let me know!
