ABOUT ME

I'm Swedish, but live in a collective in Copenhagen. I love the city and the cultural life, but I also need to get out at the country side once in a while. I'm part of a group that recently bought a house in the country in Sweden that we are hoping will become a center for cultural activities. I have been a student for many years and now I want to start to develop my creative sides. I have always had a dream about making documentary and hope to start doing that soon.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I´m sharing an apartment with six others, but they are unfortunately not interested in having couch surfers staying here. So instead, I like to guide people around Copenhagen, and show them my favorite places. I also just bought a house at the country side in Sweden together with a group of people. We will open a CS profile soon and we will definitely host CS.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

My first experience was during my stay in Greenland, where I was doing fieldwork for my finial thesis, in psychology. Mostly I stayed in tent, so it was really nice to stay at some couch surfer’s places, to get some company, but also to get entrance to the culture. My hosts were also very valuable in relation to my fieldwork, by helping me to get in contact with informants, for my research.

My most amazing experiences are often nature related. During my studies I was doing fieldwork in Greenland and stayed in a tent close to the inland ice. The coldness and the beauty when the ice breaks was stunning.
