I got back to Istanbul from my Erasmus adventure in Graz, Austria!

I'm a medicine student who likes meeting new people and discovering new places.

Interests

Well I try to have the taste of life in every area. I try to do sports, nowadays Pilates and yoga but I used to do karate for a long time ago. I am also into photography but not professionally of course. I am just taking pictures of the scenes which seems beautifully to me. And also I try to understand and enjoy paintings because every single one has its own unic story.

Music, Movies, and Books

What I love the most about books and films is that they can show us the scenes from everyday life. So that's why I love to watch realistic films and read that kind of books. Breaking Bad, Better Call Saul, Black Mirror, Young Pope are my favorite series.
Orhan Veli, Rilke, Edgar Allan Poe are my favorite poets.
I also enjoyed reading Veronica Wants To Die from Paulo Coelho, İnce Memed from Yaşar Kemal, nearly every book that Stefan Zweig wrote, Evil Inside Us from Sabahattin Ali, Letters to Milena from Kafka, Martin Eden and Suicide from Jack London, Invisible Cities from Italo Calvino, Lilly in Valley from Balzac... so this list goes on and on..

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Hiking for the first time in Eisenerzer Reichenstein which is 2200m high, in Austria. A wonderful experience!

I've learnt during my adventure on the world that nothing comes easily. You have to look for it, to find it.. I think that's my motto.

What I Can Share with Hosts

We can share our travel experiences with each other, we’ll have nice conversations about science, music (especially from80s 90s), photography and all kind of sports! And also we can cook together and taste the local food from each country!
