About Me
CURRENT MISSION
To see the world and to create.
ABOUT ME
Spontaneous, creative, emotional... The first three words that I can think of trying to describe myself. I guess people would say I am an extrovert. However I enjoy my own space as well. Needs to be a balance :) I can never sit still for too long though. It's my life and I try to do my best to live it to the fullest. And well as can be seen I love meeting new people :)

Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I have been hosting for the past few months and really enjoying it. In fact it has blossomed into a little project.
I am doing a project on hospitality and travel
(photography and video) and I ask everyone that stay with me to contribute somehow. However they are comfortable that is.
Some people have drawn little sketches to be displayed. Some sang for us and got on the movie portion of the project. Some wrote testimonials or inspirational quotes. Some did interviews (sometimes just vocal sometimes videos) Some brought small pieces from the home country. And all got photographed. (not necessarily portraits. sometimes just details of the state of the house and sometimes just casual snapshots.)
This isn't a must of course depends if both parties actually end up having the time. It's always a bit spontaneous which is the beauty of it.
Looking forward to the end result of this.
Interests
My main thing is photography. It has been for over 4 years now. Conceptual fashion photography is my spouse and documentary is my mistress as one of my friends in London once put. I always love a good read. Nothing beats dancing when you need to energise. Saying that depending on how you feel a nice hour of yoga is quite sweet too. Depending on my mood I can be a little fashionista and spend the whole day shopping or go down to the basics and go camping for a few days with nothing at all.

Music, Movies, and Books
Books: Le Petit Prince
Alice in Wonderland (and a million more but I just love reading these two over and over again)
Movies: Big Fish and Jeux D'Enfants are my top go to movies for cheering up. However trying to list all my favourites will take me weeks :) They range from Kim Ki-Duk's brilliance to Cagan Irmak's writing. Tim Burton will always stay a favourite as well. Over all a good story and well executed visuals are always welcome in any genre.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Finding pleasure in simple things I guess. Everything is hidden in the details. A simple light flicker might be as amazing as a meteor shower at times. So here is some of my simple pleasures:
-The first time I watched the view from the back of the boats at night from Besiktas to Uskudar. And well every single time ever since.
-Bethnal Green Road. The walk up from the tube. When I first walked that place with my glasses on. I know this one sounds silly but my vision is quite a blur and I dont see things clearly. Bethnal Green itself is not your prettiest area. I lived there for over a year. I think it was 7th month when I walked up the road for the first time at night with a clear vision. I remember exclaiming "Wow it is so beautiful!" seeing all the colourful lights and the graffiti. I tend to do the glasses rarely outside thing because every time it feels like I am a newborn seeing the world for the first time.
