ABOUT ME

I am... a person who appreciates nature and beautiful sceneries.. a quiet person who would rather listen than talk but knows how to stand up for herself when required..

My close friends and people who work with me always say that I don't have facial expression. it's difficult to identify whether I am happy, sad, excited etc. in other word I am a Poker Face. But once you get to know me I could be quite chatty.

I am currently based in London has been in this multicultural city since 2008.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I heard and read somewhere about it. I browsed the CS website and found it very fascinating and without thinking too long, I registered. I have attended many CS events in London and it's awesome!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Joining CS was the best decision I made ever!! I started with local CS events in London, found few good friends with same like minded.

My first couchsurfing experience was great. My first host was Jenny from Plymouth. She was super nice person. My first experience was opened my eyes on the beauty of the CS spirit and the great hospitality not forgetting a relationship between host and surfer.

After I have been surfing few couches around Europe, it has opened my eyes and see things in different perspective. The experiences were priceless. I met a lot of interesting, inspiring people through CS.

Interests

I love to visit new places, anywhere in the world as I know each of places have its own specialties.

I love to walk/hiking, I don't mind to walk many miles just to appreciate or experience the moment or beautiful sceneries.

I love animal but I don't have one (due to limited space in my shared small flat). It will easily make me smile whenever I see any cats/dogs on the street!

Music, Movies, and Books

I like to watch inspiring movies based on true stories. There are some good one like Erin Brocovich and The Pursuit of Happyness. Apart from that, I watch anything entertaining.

Same goes to books, I like to read inspiring stories.I read few crime investigation books as well, Agatha Christie is one of my favorite author.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

- Have been lifted up by elephant trunk in Thailand
- Watched Venus in between Earth and the Sun during Venus transit day 2004. I saw Venus passing through the sun on telescope live!

Teach, Learn, Share

I can teach:
- I can teach how to cook Malay food.
- Malay language.
