Oh god, I really hate writing these things. Having spent the last few years at university my travelling has been limited, as has my involvement on this website (although I've still always received those 'couch surfing events in your area' emails, ha!!). I've heard horror stories of how much its changed but I'm still hoping there are genuine people out there who use the spirit of what its meant to be about to keep it going.

Alas, I know I have no references (although I'm sure I had one at least....?!), but if you want to trust me I can tell you all about my two couch surfing experiences in Norway, 2013. One was really great and we became close over a period of 5 days, and I definitely do not think my experience of Bergen would have been the same if not for him and his hospitality. The other... ha, not so much! If all you can provide is a couch, I'd be eternally grateful, but I really do see couch surfing as an experience shared between two people of different cities, and would really like someone to share their love of their city with me.

A few generic things about me... well, as of today (sometime in 2015) I am 23 years old and just finished my degree and don't know what I'm doing with my life. I'm from London and will probably be returning soon (just spent the last month and a half in Berlin) but hopefully not permanently. I'd like to keep travelling around and maybe settle somewhere new. I have a penchant for art and adventure (although not necessarily in that order). I get bored very easily and always looking for something new. I take great pleasure in exploring the beauty of day to day life anywhere, and would rather that than make lists of tourist hot spots I think I should probably visit. More interested in people than monuments.
