About Me
CURRENT MISSION
Self-expansion (not of the gustatory sort)
ABOUT ME
I'm an independent, friendly, diverse guy with a good head on his shoulders. I love traveling alone -- I find you always learn about yourself based on which demons follow you along on the trip. Red wine, scrabble, food, running, playing music and chopping wood make me most happy.
PHILOSOPHY
"Optimonium: Just the right amount of pandemonium."

I've both hosted and surfed. I'm an equality-minded surfer and a generous host. I'm interested in an equal exchange of awesomeness.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Completing a marathon (done 7 in a little over two years, more on the way; I'm hooked). Encountering an octopus in the wild (on my mom's head, 35 feet deep). Playing drums on stage. Setting off solo with an overloaded bicycle and all of Europe in front of me. Running down the Great Dune of Pyla for a swim in the Atlantic on Hallowe'en. Swimming in the Aegean in November without a soul in sight and realizing that, for just an instant, I was the smartest guy on the planet. So many more.
