Overview
About Me
Samsara. Altruist. Pantheist.
I seek sunshine and starlit skies. I chase frogs and butterflies. I live for ale and adrenaline.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
Not sitting upon a heap of cash , not a trustafarian. I tutor a lot , go to cheap pubs and refrain from any large scale shopping ( including durga puja shopping as a Bengali :/ ) . I don't travel expensive and even can survive on cold mush for a day. Discomforts of distant lands push me to new limits of my patience.
We land up somewhere unknown. We notice that the people don't have the big round eyes or curly hair like us. It seems like a whole new planet where people have different rules of living.
Yes , livelihood changes, food changes, clothing changes.
But humans remain social creatures : they still sing and dance together , celebrate together and love equally.
So here to meet fellow travelers and locals who can guide me better.

Music, Movies, and Books
I love reading. Bill Bryson, Jack London, Khaled Hosseini, Stephen King, Carlos Ruiz Zafon, Bibhutibhusan Bandyopadhyay , nabanita Debsen mostly fill my bookshelf.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I've trekked to Sandakphu during a hailstorm. Also lost my way to Al and went towards Phalut in such weather. However I survived! I had no guide with me and after a certain point after hiking towards Phalut I realised that Al wasn't this far, so came back and took a different turn and finally reached Al!
What I Can Share with Hosts
I am inquisitive and curious by nature. My interest is mainly based on the Eastern Himalayas of North Bengal and Sikkim.
