ABOUT ME

I was born in Riga and have lived over there the biggest part of my life. it is still the city where my family and a lot of friends are. At the moment I live in Eindhoven, The Netherlands- flirting with design. Before that i was a full time fine artist and thought it will never change, but...never say never:) Well, in general i think, going with the flow and not being afraid of unexpected turns is my way of being.

PHILOSOPHY

Believe in good, take a risk and don't be afraid. Find something to laugh about, even if you(i)want to cry!

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I am new in this community, but i have friends who are hosting a lot of people and it is always a great experience. At the moment I am in Riga hosted by my parents, but if anyone comes to Riga, to show around would be my pleasure:) My next plan is to go to Sao Paulo, so I hope to find someone to show around over there:)

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

till now my couch surfing experiences have been outside this network. Often i host my traveling friends and friends of the friends. When I travel myself I like to meet local people. If there is someone who can host me- even better:)

Interessi

life is my major interest and everything that is related. I am open to new experiences and chalanges make me very happy. The field of my professional interests (fine art, design) often merge with the rest and it is very hard for me to draw the line. Anything can be realted with the work i do and another way around.Important is that things in bigger perspective makes sense.

Musica, film e libri

movies....the last nice one i saw was UP! but there are much more: Sience of sleep; Stalker; Exit through the gift shop; Dreamers; Happy go lucky; old Italian,French and Russian movies.
music....Lykke Li was the artist of the spring 2011, i was listening too much of her and need a break now:)I like different kind of music, it just have to be good and fit to the moment. I like classics- Bach and Chopin, piano is the instrument i love; I love world music esspecially Balkan and South American; minimal electro can be nice, punk and jazz, rock.... Edward Sharp and Magnetic Zeros; Ida Maria; Goran Bregovic; Faith no more; An Pierle; Anthony&the Jonsons; Belle and Sebastian; Juno; Iggy Pop and many more.
books....i like to read but hardly can find time doing it, cause if i start to read i like to do it from cover to cover non stop! One of my all time favorite writers is Marcel Prust. I like to read also books abot philosoply and psycology, cause humen are the biggest mistery to solve.

Life is amazing, only question is if I am always capable to notice that?

mmm.. when i come to teaching point I always have a feeling that acctually I dont know anything, but according to the things i have said before i guess there are some options. At the moment I wish i could learn a little bit of Portuguese!
