I live very close to nature growing my own organic fruits. The accomodation I offer is a small wooden cabin.

I grew up in Germany and have been living on Tenerife since 35 years. Here I own a little organic finca (farm). Since the children moved out, I am living alone.
Life is pulling me strongly towards a more and more simple, quiet and minimalistic lifestyle, externally but also concerning mental ideas and concepts.
My home reflects this simplicity: I live in a tiny wooden cabin. Kitchen and bathroom are selfbuilt wooden cagbins, too. The living-"room" is outside, surrounded by mango trees. From my point of view there is no comfort missing: The huts are equipped with which I consider important things like hot shower, Wifi access, fridge...

I don´t like noisy and very crowded places, but enjoy very much a nice conversation. Sometimes I like to be quite silly and don´t take things very seriously.

I enjoy the company of open minded, not judgemental people.

Por qué estoy en Couchsurfing

I started editing a profile on Couchsurfing in 2012, but then saw that it was not the right time for this activity. So I forgot about it.
Now, five years later, life is a bit less busy.
I love the idea of getting in touch with different cultures and lifestyles. Inviting people to my home is a bit like travelling for me, but without having to move.

Talking about differences of cultures, mentalitys and languages ( or other subjects).
Gardening.
Teaching spanish.
Walking in the mountains.
Playing cards, table games, etc.

Música, películas y libros

I love music and enjoy very much the big variety of styles: Jazz, classic, opera, new age, pop, rock......
Quite a long time ago I got angry with my TV and threw it out. Years later internet stepped in through the back door and sometimes I watch a documentary about animals or other cultures.
I lost my lifelong habit of reading and now I enjoy listening to talks, mostly of Advaita teachers.
