Hello, my name is Asoka and I am an environmental science student from Perth, Australia. Originally half Sri Lanka, I now live in Perth and I am taking a semester off of my studies to travel. I am currently 4 months into my 6 month backpacking journey and having just arrived in Europe, plan to stay here for the remainder. I recently arrived in Alicante from Morocco and plan on going to England at the end of May :)

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

My older brother did the same whilst travelling and had an amazing time. Also, while being a student it would be nice to save some money here and there.

Interests

I really enjoy spending time in the outdoors when I can. At home I try to go camping as often as I can, and whilst travelling I've really enjoyed hiking mountains.

I have experience teaching English. I also tutored students in a variety of other subjects. I am looking to improve my Spanish if possible.
