About Me

CURRENT MISSION

finish grad school. then take my life back in my own hands! :)

ABOUT ME

Generally: I'm most happy when I'm engaged and interested in the world around me. I like to feel self-reliant, but man, life would be so much less wonderful without friends and family. Lately I've been living in a small Maine town, and 2 years later I can truly say I've come to love it. But... my inner traveler is roaring at the gates, demanding to experience a new slice of the world!

There was once a time when turning on the coffee pot was not the first thing I did when I woke up. That time is no more.

*Soon having a fairly epic road trip from Maine to see the north rim of the Grand Canyon, Bryce, Zion, and Yosemite NP's, and then chill in the San Francisco area. Details: with my boyfriend Sean, going in mid August, and we're looking for CSers to help us really experience these places/ share couches!*

PHILOSOPHY

Stand with your face to the sun and the shadows will fall behind you
- Maori proverb

Regarding "Make new friends but keep the old," Girl Scouts says that "one is silver and the other gold." But why can't they both be gold!?
