ABOUT ME

We are a couple of colombians geologists and we got married in december 2012. We love to travel and to know different people and cultures. We left Colombia 6 years ago and we migrated to Chile where we have our jobs. In 2015 we decided to travel around the world, we just finished our trip in Southeast Asia and now we are going to Europe for 2 months.

We believe that meeting new people makes you a better person, we can learn new things, see the world from other eyes and we can practice English!

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

We found CS casually, we were searching any kind of community to help us know new people all over the world and we discovered this marvelous webpage.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

We started hosting people in Colombia, then we traveled to Chile and hosted couchsurfers in Concepción and Santiago. We surfed several times in different countries, during the FIFA World Cup in Brasil 2014 we surfed in three different cities following and supporting our national football team. Our last surf was in Sulawesi, Indonesia.

兴趣

We love each other and we try to make a simple life, we want to travel all we can because we don´t have kids so it is the perfect time to do it.
Dive, dive, dive! We learned it in The Phillipines and now we try to do it as much as we can.

音乐、电影和书籍

Juliana loves the tropical music: Merengue, Salsa, Vallenato and all the rhythms that make her move the body... jejeje. Rafael prefers rock, blues and salsa.
We love cinema, we enjoy action, horror and drama movies, also we like TV series like Game of Thrones, Better Call Saul and The Walking Dead.

我做过的一件不可思议的事情

One thing that we will never forget is the dawn on the Magdalena River in the middle of the Colombian Jungle.
The Andean Cordillera at 4500 m.a.s.l full of snow in winter.
The eternity of the Atacama´s Desert.
The sunrise in Bagan (Myanmar)!! We were on a temple watching the sunrise and the sky was full of baloons, that was amazing.

We can teach geology, it would be very pleasant to me that you know something about my job. We love to cook so if you know how to cook some tipical food we will appreciate that you do it so we can learn.

Right now we can not offer a place to stay because we are traveling around the world, we started in Southeast Asia and the next destination is Europe.
