Music, Movies, and Books
Music: I listen to all kinds of music, but there are some generalized areas and certain bands and singers that help me creative and concentrated.
Electronic and Ambient: It is rather a matter of what type of music –creatives like Brian Eno and Moby –to suit the setting and the type of thinking and work that has to be done.
Instrumental and Soundtracks: Hans Zimmer and John Williams provided the most enthralling score which can make me feel emotional and focus at the same time.
Alternative Rock: Some of the artists I find most fascinating are Radiohead and Muse, as they create rather deep thoughts-provoking music.
Movies: Of all the genres and styles that have adherents in cinephile culture, I am most interested in films which are scientific, technologically-informed, and futuristic. Some of my favorites include:Some of my favorites include:
Sci-Fi: The two movies, “Interstellar” and “Blade Runner 2049,” are dizzying in their groundbreaking visuals and confront the viewer with deep existential questions about humanity and the universe.
Tech Thrillers: The films “The Social Network” and “Ex Machina” are two of the most interesting examples of the effects or emergence of new innovations in society.
Documentaries: First, the two documentaries “Cosmos: A Spacetime Odyssey” presented by Neil deGrasse Tyson and the “The Code” by Marcus du Sautoy explain the marvels of science and mathematics.
Books: My favorite books are thought-provoking and informative ones that discuss ideas and concepts that are interesting to me, in science and technology.
Science Non-Fiction: Both books, “A Brief History of Time” by Stephen Hawking and “The Selfish Gene” by Richard Dawkins, are fascinating and make reader think.
Technology and Futurism: Two books, which are “The Singularity Is near” by Ray Kurzweil and “Homo Deus” by Yuval Noah Harari deal with the possibility of and technological progress and its influence on humanity.
Science Fiction: The two novels that mention electric literature praise are “Dune” by Frank Herbert and “Neuromancer” by William Gibson, both of which are considered to be science fiction novels that centre compelling narratives around physics.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I would recall my practical involvement in the project where I and my colleagues worked on the creation of the open-source software solution that revolutionized education in the conditions of the limited access to the education in the remote areas. In turn, it presented this project as a complex result of work with a multi-disciplinary worldwide team of engineers, educators, and community members.
Our aim was to develop a system that could be incorporated in the devices that are cheap, resourceless, and power-starved, which is also important to students of developing countries who may have hardly any access to the internet at all. We took our time and invested a lot of time researching what a good interface should look like, we worked to improve the efficiency of the software and we also paid special attention to the fact that it should be possible to run the application offline.
This work experience was one of the most fulfilling since it made me realize the worth of the job I was undertaking. Some of the testimonies we got from teachers and students include those that are going to school for the first time and thus had no chance of getting any material from teachers or TV lessons. The degree of appreciation and passion that they showed is not something I have experienced normally. To know that our efforts played a part in the reduction of the digital divide on the female students and helping them be offered new chances to grow was simply unbelievable.
To finalise this project was a good experience it opened my eyes of how technology can actually be used to bring change and also the value of working as a team in order to come up with innovative solutions towards solving some of the issues affecting the world today. It has been one of the most rewarding moments of my career and an ever present testament to the capacity the adult possesses in order to positively change lives through our craft and commitment.
Teach, Learn, Share
Teach: To be precise, I have a passion towards passing what I have learned to others in fields such as technology and programming. From explaining the first steps of coding and decisions about its workflow, the further nuances of software development and the discussion of modern tendencies in the IT industry, I am a ready to share the knowledge and inspire the other people. Moreover, the list above can be complemented with some observations and suggestions regarding project management and proper approaches to cooperate in tech projects where everyone will be able to maximize their input.
Learn: I am eager to learn a lot and try to go deep into the experience and participation in the different innovative scientific discoveries and information in the field of technology. I love to learn more about programming languages, new technologies, and get depth ideas about the system. Apart from technology, my hobbies include following current global events, history, and people’s stories from all over the world, as global village is a beautiful place that has lots of interesting people.
Share: I believe that the profession implies not only knowledge sharing, including technical one, but an opportunity to show my travels and interesting experiences of mine. That is why I think that common discursions based on a knower and experience exchange helps strengthen the interconnection between individuals. From airline hacks and moving recommendations, to interesting science trivia and the effects of technology in people’s lives, there is a wealth of topics that I can cover. I also like group projects so that each of the participants is allowed to put in his or her best in terms of his or her talents and ideas.
What I Can Share with Hosts
Technical Knowledge: Being a tech enthusiast and a professional in the field, I can provide knowledge on subjects including but not limited to programming, software development and emerging technologies. If you would like to know the basics of coding, new technology ideas, or how to fix your gadgets, I am here for you now.
Travel Stories and Tips: As you can imagine, having been to all those places, I have a host of experiences and tales to tell. I can give real life tips, source places that are must-visits, and tell stories of my travels.
Cultural Exchange: I consider cultural exchange as highly beneficial and would like to discuss information about my culture and learn about yours as well. This includes sharing of traditional foods, exchange of stories and ideas of cultures and other forms of good fellow talks.
Scientific Curiosities: I like to read about science, so I am ready to discuss the latest discoveries and inventions with you. If you like getting into the science, we can have great and fascinating discussions that will make your brain ask questions.
Life Skills: I can also inform about practices related to project management and other related collaboration practices that can be useful in day-to-day life. This covers issues to do with time management and planning, organization, and information sharing.
Shared Activities: Some of my favorite connectivity tasks include cooking together, traveling or doing hobbies. Whether it’s a tech project, a cooking session or an outing in our locality, I am always open to creating memories with you.
I am looking forward to meeting hosts, share knowledge and experience within the framework of CS and become friends with people.
