About Me

I am a very sociable person and very independant at the same time. I like to share experiences with new and old friends. I don't need someone next to me to take a risk and do anything. I do need my independance though I am not a loner for real. One of my best friends says I am like a cat, very sociable, but don't try to catch me: I can be wild or cuddling, wandering all day and night or staying at home quietly. Sincerity does matter to me. I appreciate clear answers and I don't think a negative one is hurting if it is angerfree, so please don't hesitate, speak up, don't hide yourself, cause I won't. Gigi, my great grand aunt calls me Assia, Ace of Spades.

I need clear and spontaneous communication even if shy. Sincerity with yourself and with the rest of the world, I value that a lot. I have learned on couch surfing that it is very important to know what your general expectations are or at least try to understand them, when approaching someone you don't know. Or even someone you know...Being able to express one's boundaries, respect other's boundaries, respect everyone's feeling. And do your best, not more, not less. That implies not invading people's space.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Travel differently. I like hostels sometimes (when I have the money, wich isn't often the case I have to admit) but for special occasion and I haven't spent a night in a hostel in years.

Interests

I am learning illuminations (in french enluminures).

I like adventures, crazy stories or quiet times at home. I love fucking around, take long walks without any purpose or goal. I think time is important, so I try to take it.
But I am pretty active and I also like challenges. And games!

I like mountains, countryside, sea and ocean, river and lakes. I am from Paris so I find my way quickly through a city. But I turn towards calmer spaces these days.

I love walking. Wondering. Exploring.
I love bars, cemeteries, markets, catacombs, seafronts.
I love old, vintage, antiques, urbex.
I need to find window into this world through beauty, ugly, fantastic, horrific, poetic, stories...

I love food, simple ones or fancy ones. My great grand mother had always potateos and eggs to make some omelet, plus salad and red wine, ready to receive guests (and maybe some homemade spirits and liquors). I am pretty accomodating. I try to avoid meat, dairies, gluten, coffee, alcohol cause I feel better not having these in my daily life. But I am not making myself sick from enjoying them sometimes.

What else I wanna dance, sing, eat, drink, sleep, walk, write, read, paint, saw, seek mushroom, meet new people, build long-term friendships, learn, laugh, see the word, wotk sometimes, fuck around and and and and and

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

My Irkoutsk CS host (hey Damir!) offered me a bargan / khomus in Russian - a type of shawharp from Siberi, after spending a few days with me on Olkhon island on the Baïkal lake. And I ended up couchsurfing with him at an other CS member's place.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I can teach you some medieval painting technic. I can cook. I can take you to weird places in you town you didn't know of. I can walk and talk, I can share a drink and talk, I can stay in front of a fire and not talk... There are just so many things we can do in a day. Or we can do nothing together.
