About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Getting ready to save the world

ABOUT ME

We are a couple from Lithuania. We finished our education in LT and were thinking what to do next and both decided that we are not ready to settle in one place with a work 9 to 5, also we both wanted to change something in our lifes. To try something we newer did, to chalange ourselves, to do something good and to see the world.
We came to DNS where we have an opportunity to study, travel, do voluntary work arround the world and work as teachers and pedagoges in DK with youngsters with social and psychological problems. So we do that :)
In 3 years we traveled in Asia, Africa, Europe, we had a lot of practice and met a lot of people from all arround the world. Now we are going to Brasil to participate in different projects, work and just live in a this beautiful country.

PHILOSOPHY

hmm a lot of them.
The main one - if you want to be happy - be.
Atheism or at least believing that you can change something.
Being honest and fair, looking wide and far and thinking critically.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

We used CS before traveling with other people and were hosting some people in Denmark and now finally we made our own CS account.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

We have traveled a lot and experienced that wherever you are you can find nice people to stay with and to share your time, experiences. You newer see the country so real as when you travel with CS or just stay and comunbicate with local people.
Once we were in India and we decided to go for an extreme - we went to the slums and stayed with the local families (we brought some usfull presents so we wouldn't be a burden for them). Of course they had no internet neither computer, so it was without CS, but we had an extreme experience to see their culture and everyday life from inside. One can newer get that by traveling with tourist company and staying in the hotels.
