ABOUT ME

Well, I'm pretty much your basic urban hippie - laid back, loves to chill and/or go out doing random adventuring, goes with the flow, cares about the environment, animals and people and all that stuff, you know the deal. In the winter I burn a hell of a lot of candles and drink rum tea. In the summer I can be found outside for example in parks playing footbag with my mates all day long - when it gets dark we'll just move under a lamp-post.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I've surfed a few times and hosted a few times. And even though it can't always be all perfect and not everyone can be best friends, this is in my opinion still the best way to travel. And many times it really is all perfect and you end up with awesome nights out and long-lasting friendships.

I seem to always have multiple books in the reading at the same time. Lately I've been taking interest in autobiographies, because reading them is a way of connecting and gaining information and experiences through other people's lives, and that's just awesome. As a kid, reading The Outsiders by S. E. Hinton made me learn how to raise just one eyebrow for a dramatic effect.

Authors that have recently sunned me: Carl Jung, Hermann Hesse.

My interest in music comes and goes. One thing that stays, though, is my thing for 90's eurodance. I don't take music very seriously, and I often think it's silly when people do. People who brag about their unique taste in music and diss "mainstream" stuff make me roll my eyes. I do enjoy it, though, when people are genuinely passionate about music, know a lot about it and like sharing that information without trying to be all special and important. I'm always happy to get band/musician/genre suggestions.

Bands/musicians that have recently stunned me: Arms and Sleepers, Kylie Minogue.

More than any things I've seen or done, I tend to experience amazing feelings when I kind of "wake up" to this reality, experience gratitude and am, well, amazed by this strange form of energy called "life".
