About Me
CURRENT MISSION
To explore the world and the people in it
ABOUT ME
I'm a friendly girl from the north of sweden. I grew up in the way north of Sweden and would encourage anyone who wants to see the best of Sweden to go north, but I think I'm done living there. It's got awesome nature and places to visit, but it's just too remote to live there. I want to see the whole world and find the places where I fit in. I love traveling and meeting new people and seeing new cultures. I think it's really interesting to find that people are people, wherever you go. I think that's the biggest revelation from my trips in the last few years; everywhere is pretty much the same, just different. Eeh...well, it's hard to explain. :)
I'm very social and outgoing when I find the right people, and I love doing stuff, not just talking about it.
PHILOSOPHY
To actually DO things, not just dream about them!
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
Only surfed once, me and a friend went for a mini-road-trip to Spokane and were lucky enough to use a friendly woman's couch. Also, I've met a lot of CS'ers who were kind enough to let me and my thesis-partner into their homes to interview them about toilet paper. :)

Music, Movies, and Books
Favourite genres are Sci-fi and fantasy. I like odd things. Music favourites include Johnny Cash, 60-70's classics, soul music, Aretha Franklin, REM and more. I don't read as much as I'd like, I seem to waste my time on other things... Right now I'm reading some books by Deborah Tannen, about differences in how people speak and express themselves. It's extremely funny to see that the arguments between me and my boyfriend are text book examples... :)
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Road-tripping through the US, summer of '07. It was something I've been dreaming of for 10-15 years and it finally happened! We started out in Seattle, drove for 2 weeks and got to Boston, then flew to Denver and drove through the deserts to the California coast for an other 2 weeks, and up to Seattle again. Def the most amazing thing I've done so far! If I have to choose, the most amazing place on the trip was Death Valley, +50 degrees (C) and cookin'! Being grown up in the cold north, I love heat...
