HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

i always loved to travel and meet locals AND i love even more to have visiters to show around or give them a place to sleep in my so expensive country. i found that visiters helped me as well to get to know my own country better and do nice trips with them, which you wouldnt do without the challenge to show foreign friends the nices spots in your country.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

i first surfed in NZ and met such a lovely easygoing person, i would never have met without cs. i do struggle sometimes to get internet access to get in touch with hostes. the problem is, that i am not good in planning too much ahead and do not have a mobile. so it is sometimes hard to finde a place spontaniously. but it is possible! i once asked for a couch in the morning and got a nice warm bed to stay (in cold japan) in the evening :-) thanks alvin!
looking forward to be a very spontanious hoste myself :-) but without mobile and an attitude to not check my emails every day, i fear i will fail...

兴趣

jazz music, singing (hopefully some day somewhere else than only in the shower), all kind of dancing (balldancing, disco, flamenco, bellydance...), reading, foreign languages, art, outdoorthings like hiking, rockclimbing, sailing and just be outside

a long experiance of how it is to starve (having an egg for dinner, go to bed hungry, get up hungry)for being a vegetarian in the carnivor community in the rainforest of ecuador.

ending up (by accident!) with some sailors in an brothel in columbia and get drunk with wiskey (was just drinking!!!)
