I keep getting requests for Auckland, where I was born and raised but I actually live in Germany right now.

Requests for Auckland: not so much.

After having been growled at for not writing much on my CS profile, I've gone overboard with it now.. forgive me and I understand if you cbf reading it. Just make sure you read the first paragraph about me NOT LIVING IN NEW ZEALAND! Subtle, I know.

I'm a fun and enthusiastic Kiwi and get along with almost everybody. Instantly. I love to entertain people and make sure their needs are met but I'm not sure what my work schedule will look like and I sometimes get super tired during the week if it is mid-end of term (teacher) so you may need to take care of yourself at times. I love a good laugh with other nice/fun/interesting/conscientious people. Like all the others on couchsurfing, traveling and meeting new people is my jam. I love a couple of lite bevvies and banter.

I can not cook. I might cook for you if I've got ingredients that I need to use up but you have to feign delight when you get it. Urrrgg cooking.

For me, traveling is as much about the people I meet as the things I see or do. Basically, the cinematic Life Magazine motto had it in the bag - To see the world, things dangerous to come to, to see behind walls, draw closer, to find each other, and to feel. That is the purpose of life. Now that I'm relatively settled I can continue meeting people from around the world and helping them with a safe place to sleep.

I also know what it's like to be stuck, broke and cold. I experienced great acts of kindness on my travels and I'd like to start rebalancing things by giving back now that I can. In short, if you're stuck and need a place I will try my best to give you a couch to crash (unless you're a bad kind of weirdo, good kind of weirdo welcome).
