Hello there!
I'm currently travelling the world after leaving the UK. I was working in Sales in the rat race, but I decided to quit, sell up everything and change my life. I had no idea where my adventure would end up but I knew I had to see as much of this beautiful planet as I possibly could.
I am an artist at heart with a passion for painting and drawing and my trip so far has been very inspirational on that front. I've found a piece of heaven in Malaysia which is my current base but I'm still travelling around seeing as much as I can.
I started my journey on the Trans Siberian from Moscow to Beijing, spent 2 months in China zig zagging my way south, 3 months in Vietnam, travelled across Cambodia, Thailand, another 3 months in Malaysia then I ventured into Indonesia to climb Volcano Rinjani and went jungle trekking to see the beautiful Orangutans on Sumatra. My Asia adventure is not over as I found a piece of heaven on an Malaysian island which is now my base but it's still just the beginning of my travel journey as I'm not stopping there full time. Too much to see! Too many adventures to be had.... Next year is the Pacific Crest Trail thru hike which I'm currently planning for. Exciting!
I love immersing myself into different cultures and heading off the beaten track where possible. I love nature, trekking and exploring where I can. I have also volunteered and will do some more on my journey.

I love the idea of couch surfing as it will give me the opportunity to live as a local and truly discover more about the countries I visit. I can share the adventure knowledge I have so far and am always eager to learn as much as possible for my future travels!

I have a varied taste of music and I love most kinds. My playlist is pretty random to be honest.
I'm a film buff and I love a good movie. Not one for rom coms though... I like a little more grit to what I escape into.

One amazing thing I have done is I trekked to the Base Camp of Mount Everest last April.... Life changing trip as it inspired me to do what I am doing now.
