Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I have hosted a few folks and met up with other local couchsurfers in Knoxville. I plan to use it to travel soon.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
The people I have hosted have been wonderful and great fun. The meetups among the locals have been a great way to bring people in the community together and to get to know people in my town that I probably would not have met otherwise.

Music, Movies, and Books
I enjoy a good documentary but some of my favorite movies are I Heart Huckabees, the Darjeeling Limited, and Coser.
As far as books go, I'm trying to break into fiction. I have always been attracted to the facty stuff, but Jonathan Safran Foer has been a good way to break into the other side.
As for music, some of my favorites are Sufjan Stevens, Beirut, Joanna Newsome, and the National.
I enjoy seeing local music, anywhere from old timey tunes to experimental.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I studied abroad in Hong Kong during the fall of 2010. While there I traveled parts of China and Vietnam. I would like to continue traveling more now that I am back home.
