ABOUT ME
I'm a teacher (by profession), traveler, friend, occasionally a lazy bum, often outside, and always learning.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I Couchsurfed around a couple places in Europe while doing a semester abroad a few years back. More recently, I've surfed while on a road trip in the United States and on a short trip to Morocco. I hosted surfers for a few years while in school in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. Sometimes, my husband and I are able to host surfers at our apartment in New Orleans.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I've met some of the kindest and most interesting people through Couchsurfing. I would highly recommend it to anyone wanting to break free of the standard mode of travel.

I can teach English literature! Or at least the state of Louisiana says I can...
I love to learn. I am trying to learn somewhat how to cook.
I am always down for trying out new languages.
I can try to teach you some French, but you'd probably be better off consulting a textbook/French person.
