I'm 36 and I'm an architect. I like to cook, sometimes more than I like architecture, but sometimes not.

PHILOSOPHY

Life is too short for making longterm plans. I never travel with more than keywords, and I don't like to book return flights in advance. Remember that your life consists of everyday life, so make everyday life extraordinary.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

My first couchsurfing experience was in Italy, in 2002. We couldn't find any hostels, so we ended up crashing with a guy we met on the train. Pretty sweet, and has had me hooked since.

Interests

I enjoy nature and being in it, hiking, bicycling, sleeping beneath the stars. I also try to work out a bit (currently yoga, swimming, bicycling), going out to dine, drink and dance when the budget allows, cooking at home, being with friends, photography, film and architecture.

Music, Movies, and Books

I like dramas, action and comedy - whatever as long as it has a good story (or maybe not, I actually found Bring it on a great flick on a not so great day), moving pictures and warmth. Something that makes a difference in one way or other. Station Agent, Donnie Darko, Der Untergang, The Visitor..

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I once hit a nail right on it's head, been hospitalized in Bangkok for three days, almost burned down a garage with a friend when I was a kid (nice spending quality time with friends), broke my collarbone bicycling and I have made dinner for thirty people with fish we caught and gutted ourselves.
