About Me
Hello!,
My name is Astrid, I’m from Colombia.
I enjoy family, sports, animals, literature, and nature.
As an Aquarius sign; I love traveling and meeting new cultures. I lived abroad for 8 years, before returning to my hometown and I changed significantly after that experience.
I like to travel whenever I can. I love sports (cycling and trekking). I’d be happy to host people genuinely interested to know my hometown, known as "The beautiful city in Colombia" and also Colombia, a wonderful country
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
Right now, I´m traveling Europe for a while. I´m looking for someone to host me a few weeks in Uk
But also, I´m happy to host people too, once Im coming back to Colombia.

Music, Movies, and Books
Music: Rock (especially British bands), Classical, Reggaeton, Banda Mexicana lol!
Movies: Independent movies and thrillers. Not terror or wars or anything bloody and noisy
Books: I love Hermann Hesse, perhaps Siddharta is one of my fav. Also, the trilogy of Yuval Harari and some of Eckarth Tolle, Joe Dispenza, and Ernesto Sabato
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Climbing Nevado del Tolima in Colombia, It was physically and technically demanding, 5.600 mt above the sea level!!
Travel my country from North to South, exploring its amazing culture and people.
An epic ride to Alto de Letras in Colombia, extremely hard!! It was a privilege to reach the longest climb in the world, Alto de letras. Colombia has the longest mountain pass (54,68 mi / 88 km), with an impressive elevation gain of 14.754ft (4.500m)
