About Me

New to Couchsurfing, but less new to respectfully staying at (yet) strangers home's and making lasting connections.

Travelling around Europe during summer and autumn 2022 (why fly to the other side of the world?), looking where the path leads - along with my tent and an energetic spirit :)

I don't need much luxury to be content and appreciate the simple things in life. I'm a classical 50/50 extrovert/introvert: I enjoy meeting new people of all walks of life and being the dancing light on parties, but I also look for time by myself for reading and meditation.

Looking forward meeting you beautiful souls 🙏

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Because I like the cozy atmosphere of 'home' and repeatedly being amazed by the many spontaneous and kind souls inhabiting our world.
Once back and having my own place again, I want to return that special feeling.

Interests

Happy with the simple things in life: my feet (for dancing), breathing (for well.. living, and meditation), bacteria in/on our body (thanks little organisms for cohousing and workawaying in our gut and skin and many other areas... many hands make light work) 👐

  • dancing
  • meditation
  • bouldering
  • hiking
  • microbiology
  • buddhism

Music, Movies, and Books

Current read: Doors of perception (Aldous Huxley)

Last watch: Decision to leave

Music: from Jazz to Electro Swing, and Funk & Disco to Psytrance.. Anything danceable really (incl Classical music)

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Hiking up multiple days to a breathtaking lake, Gosaikunda, in the Nepalese Himalayas, and arriving on my birthday to find mushrooms growing magically everywhere around the lake.
No wonder Hindu mythology tells stories of 'Gods' inhabiting this area... 🙏
