About Me
First thing: I will only accept requests from female visitors or people that are part of the Queer-Community.
Astrid: Hi, my name is Astrid and i'm 27 years old.
I was born and raised in Germany (near Munich) and yes i often was at the Octoberfest ;). I moved to Freising recently. A beautiful city close to munich.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I dont want to be a "short-time-tourist" in an "all-inclusive-trip"!
I want to meet and get to know other cultures, languages, how you live in countries abroad, what places you like, where you go out and what people usually eat there. We want to avoid being casual tourists and blend in (sort of...with huge backpacks^^).
Interests
I like traveling, meeting up with friends, playing badminton, going to concerts/festivals, going out, reading, hanging out and videogaming ;)!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Traveling 5 months in Asia and
1 month in Alaska ;)
And I once was working as a nurse (sort of) with people suffering from dementia for a couple of months. I helped them out with eating, walking, talking, work out and other things. It was an awsome experience and an educational time for me.
Teach, Learn, Share
I teach you how to swear in german^^..or talk to someone normally of course.
Share our travel experiences, tell you about our lives and german culture (Bavaria) and share a beer or two together ;D.
