I'm 21 years old and in the middle of my second gap year. I like travelling and experiencing new things and that's why I haven't been in a rush to start university - even though I'm also really looking forward to that. Some adjectives to describe myself might be social, easygoing, curious, considerate, fun/party-loving, adventurous, food-lover.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I'm all new to couchsurfing though I heard great things about it and have wanted to try it for quite some time. Me and my friend have tried finding hosts through couch surfing in America but haven't had any luck yet, we've stayed with people we met on the road though. I've been in exchange programs before, hosting and been hosted by people from Germany, the Netherlands and the States. I'm really looking forward to some great experiences in this community.

I'm really interested in social studies, I love culture, art (contemporary, installations and photography), nature and travelling. I like reading a good book, listening to music and I'm interested in what's happening around the world.

I love books and have been trying to get through classics by Dostojevski, Rushdie, Camus etc. but I always enjoy a good crime novel.
I love indie and rock, some favourite bands are Arctic Monkeys, The Strokes, Choir of Young Believers, Girls, Cold Specks etc. I also love the oldies: Bob Dylan, Beatles, The Doors, Pink Floyd. But I also can't deny a catchy party song..
