ABOUT ME

I really don't like trying to sell myself, which is what you have to do in these forms. With that being said I'll give it a shot.
I currently live in Copenhagen and have been for about 3 years, but for a while now I've had the travel bug.. That always happens when I stay somewhere for too long - because traveling is awesome!
It really is through traveling and meeting so many new people that I've learned the most important things about life.
I guess I'm a calm and kind of quirky person. I go a long way to make people around me happy - sharing is caring!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I surf.. I would love to host too but tight living arrangements makes it difficult. When my housemate is away however, it is possible.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Never had a bad experience couch surfing! It's overwhelming to me how many good people are ready to open their home to you - that is true kindness if you ask me! It's always a great way to meet new people when you're traveling.

Interests

Yoga. I love the balance that it creates between strength and surrender. Learning how to stay calm even in demanding poses or situations.

Music is probably the thing that can get me talking for hours.. You might want to think again before you mention the name Bob Dylan because I will go on and on for a very long time about him!

I also have a big interest in different cultures and different points of view - I definitely don't think we all need to agree on everything, but if we understand each others way of thinking I think a lot of problems could be solved and we would be able to accept and maybe even cherish the diversity of the world.

Music, Movies, and Books

Mostly mellow guitar music like Angus and Julia Stone, The Tallest Man on Earth and Nick Drake, but I'll surprise you and listen to everything from The Cat Empire to Major Lazer.

I don't read much outside of uni, and won't really say I have a favourite book. I do like books like 'on the road' and 'into the wild' though.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

One thing? Pfh.. I can't name just one thing. But I would say that the one thing all the amazing things that have happened to me have in common is it happened outside my comfort zone.

Teach, Learn, Share

I play a little guitar so I might be able to teach you a little finger play. I'd definitely be able to teach you some danish. Uhh.. And my new interest is hula hooping so maybe a hula hoop trick or two.
More than anything i'd be happy to share my stories with you and I would love to hear yours!
