Overview
About Me
I grew up in Melbourne, Australia. Growing up in Australia gave me a love and deep connection to nature, wilderness and the ocean. I'm Danish/Australian, so also grew up in Denmark. I've been between the two countries for my entire life.
I am an artist, avid yogi, and absolutely love being in the ocean. I've been surfing as much as possible this last year and half, seeing as we can't travel overseas I've done everything I can to explore Victoria and make the most of the Surf Coast I call home.
I love meeting new people and hearing people's stories.
I am sober, and generally prioritise exercise & health in my life. Surfing usually means early to bed and up early with the sun. Good food, good company and beautiful places - that's all I need. <3 :)
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I am on couchsurfing because I believe it is the best way to travel. Forging connections with people worldwide meaning we can help each other out further down the path, but also seeing the places we travel to from the local's perspective. It is difficult to be "disconnected" and spontaneous, seeing where the trip takes you. Couchsurfing brings back a bit of the excitement of what I imagine travel was like years ago. Also, seeing what life is like where you stay is fascinating!
One of my biggest pleasures in life is meeting new people, and hearing about all of the ways they live life. Or seeing how they live life! Humans are fascinating. I think the best thing about Couchsurfing is being able to get a feel for what life is like wherever you are visiting. It's magic. <3
Interests
I have a huge love for yoga, surfing, the ocean, meditation and creativity. The thing that feeds my creativity the most is meeting new people, and seeing new places, having new experiences. I've been practising yoga for 7 years, and meditation for just about the same. I love exercise and feeling strong, including boxing. I'm an artist at heart, am slowly working towards making it my day-to-day reality. I love taking portraiture, writing short stories and watching the stars at night...

Top 5 books: Trainspotting, Catch 22, Wuthering Heights, Fiesta: Sun Also Rises, The Power of Now.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Hitchhiking through Norway from Oslo to Tromsø in the middle of Winter 2016. It was a fantastic experience that had me stuck on mountains, rolling around naked in the snow at a Fin's instruction and dancing under the Aurora Borealis with some beautiful souls.
Otherwise, watching a blood moon and swimming with bioluminescent plankton at 90 Mile Beach, Australia. Surfing alone on beautiful mornings on Great Ocean Road. Hiking through Wilson's Promontory, Victoria Australia. Encountered wildlife in Australia... sitting 5 metres away from a Sea Lion while it took refuge from a wild storm at Pt Roadknight... seeing a shark fin in the water not too far away from me while surfing... sunrises, sunsets... Everything is beautiful :)
Really, just living is the most amazing thing I've done. Every day is an adventure.
Teach, Learn, Share
Hmm... I can share my photography! I can give pointers there too. I can teach yoga and take you through mindfullness/meditation. I can also do simple Alexander Technique exercises with you, which is kind of like a physiotherapy cross meditation.
I would love to learn about your life & passions.
What I Can Share with Hosts
I can share wonderful conversation, enthusiasm for learning about your ways, a kind heart.
Also the above - I can take your portrait, teach yoga, meditation & mindfulness, and take you through simple Alexander Technique exercises.
