ABOUT ME
I'm usually happy and smiling, because many things make me smile, here's a few:
A good laugh with old or new friends, Indian vegetarian curries, dancing all night, tender jazz, walking on the beach, reindeer steak, flowers, cycling, skating, deep philosophical conversations, feeling the wind through my hair and the sun on my skin, high mountains, winter bathing, cross country skiing, meeting new people, kids, vegetable gardens, sustainability, travelling, travelling, travelling.
PHILOSOPHY
Life isn't about finding yourself, it's about creating yourself.
"To dare is to lose footing for a moment, not to dare is to lose oneself". - Kierkegaard
Worry is like a rocking chair. It keeps you moving, but it doesn't get you anywhere.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Music, Movies, and Books
I have wide musical preferences, from heavy metal to classical music, but I always come back to: Pink floyd, Björk, Bob Dylan, Joe Henry, Anthony and the Johnsons..
I am interested in religion and culture and like to read books and watch documentaries that can give me deeper insight in these subjects. At the time i am reading Dalai Lamas "My country and my people".
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Only one? Can't pick right now. My travel experiences put together, would be my answer.
Moving to Southeast Asia, learning Lao, teaching english in Hanoi, Staying in remote Lao villages for a research project.
Working at Kirkenes Snowhotel: Dark polar winter with northern lights, husky tours, cross country skiing, and sweet collegues.
Teach, Learn, Share
The goal is to learn from every experience and every person on my way. Lets see what we don't have in common, and learn by sharing!
If you try to learn from everything that happens, nothing that happens to you can be bad. It can either be good or it can be an experience.
