Overview
About Me
I'm a 23 year old girl of Lower Austria, who studies German and History at the University of Vienna. I'll finish my studies in spring 2016 and become a teacher.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I want to use my remaining time as a student to visit other countries and get to know different people without overdrawing my account. :)
Interests
I am very interested in reading and teaching. I really like to work with other people and share my knowledge. In my free time I read a lot, but I always have to read a lot of stuff for my studies, so that I don't have a lot of time for reading private books during the term.
I love playing tennis, but I am also interested in doing other sports.
I like to spend my free time in the nature, but sometimes I need the busy life of a big city, because I am very interested in cultural stuff.
Oh yes, and I really love to take photos - with one of my lomography cameras or with my reflex camera <3

Music, Movies, and Books
There's no kind of music that I really prefer, but my favorite bands always was and always will be the Red Hot Chili Peppers, even if I'm not especially interested in Rock Music anymore. From time to time I also like to listen to Pop Music, e.g. when I am going out and I want to dance. But since I am singing in a choir, sometimes I just want to take my guitar and sing a song myself.
I prefer series (yes, all the typical "girlie-series" like "Grey's Anatomy", "One Tree Hill", "Pretty Little Liars", ; but also "Lost", "Under the Dome", "Game of Thrones", "Homeland" ...). Most of the time I watch them in German, but sometimes I can't wait for the German synchronisation, so that I improve my English a little bit by watching the series in the original language. Sometimes I also watch movies and one of the best films I've ever seen is definitely "The Shawshank Redemption".
I have read a lot of books in my life but I am really not able to tell you, which books I prefer. I think it's so hard for me to say because I read a lot of old books but also new ones. Currently I am addicted to Simon Beckett's stories after I have read every book from Charlotte Link.
