I'm from India and now working in the Netherlands for a few months. Currently backpacking through Europe. I love travelling solo as it always helps in meeting new people rather than getting restricted to group. My usual travels are to places which are hard to reach by road or destinations which are not too mainstream. However, i do love the occassional crowd and the energy of a big city.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I wan't to cover as many countries in europe during my limited time here. My timelines for travel are always last minute which gives me minimum time to plan my stay etc. Since i hold a train pass, i just get out from work, hop on the train and off i go.

I have stayed in a few places with the locals and felt that there was a more human interaction which a hostel or hotel can never offer. Its the best way to get to know about people and their culture. However, i have not tried this yet in europe.
