Traveling has always been a big part of my life. Born in Scotland, raised in Oman, summer holidays meant visiting family scattered through the UK, and Zanzibar. Since leaving Oman for university I have travelled on 3 continents, and lived in Canada, Spain, Argentina and Belgium.

I love meeting new people everywhere I go, and discovering that despite large distances, the world is pretty small. I'm an easy going person, I love trying new things.

I have a serious case of "puppy fever", and as a dogless dog-lover, I am infamous for showering my love on dogs I meet on the street (consider yourself warned).

Most importantly, I hate potatoes.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

This spring I moved to Brussels, and I am looking to make new friends who speak English and/or Spanish. Since moving here, I have started learning French classes and I am always keen to practice, and would be happy to do a language exchange with anyone looking to improve their english, o practicar conmigo en español, aunque no es mi idioma nativo!

I love being outside. I'm an avid yogi, reader, knitter/crochet-er, and baker. It's safe to say that I am podcast obsessed, from global news, to popular culture, I follow quite a few...I love listening to music, dancing, and exploring, and I am always up to try something new.
