Overview
About Me
Hi!
I'm Asya, from Turkey.
I am a newly graduate Industrial Product Designer from Istanbul Technical University. Now I'm proceeding to study my second major; architecture.
I am a dance teacher. I worked for İTÜ Musical Club and Boğaziçi Musical Club.
I went to Sweden as an Erasmus student and I've lived there for a year. It was an amazing experience.
I also lived in Mexico for a year as a Rotary exchange student. Now I have some people there that I love very much and consider as my family.
I love traveling, experiencing a whole new culture, being amazed by the art, architecture and the people.
I think the most beautiful thing about the world is diversity and traveling is the best way to explore it all.
When I'm traveling, I get to know many new things that excite me and I feel a little more "complete".
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I love to travel. In my opinion, the best way of understanding a place is by getting to know the locals.
Unfortunately, the human race is a little prejudiced. By knowing each other as people, forgetting about all those prejudices and fixed ideas, we would make the world a better, nicer place. We'd spread the understanding and indulgence.
I am Couchsurfing because I am trying to get to know the place with the people and culture.
And I'm trying to spread the joy a little more.
Interests
I am a ballet teacher, I've been dancing since I was 4. I am passionate about dance.
I know how to play the piano and violin. I had to terminate my classes because of my heavy studies but I would love to restart as soon as possible.
I am very passionate about my majors as well. I appreciate a good piece of design and I try to keep being productive.
