About Me

I was born in the coldest town on earth - Yakutsk (just google - coldest town)
I love my home town but I moved away in 2008 when moved to Florida USA to study. Not very surprisingly Florida was too hot so I moved to Alaska, USA - the place I absolutely unconditionally loved. I moved between states in US and then I moved back to Russia, Moscow this time. However, now I can be found in Auckland, New Zealand working on my education, just have to get that Masters.
Over all I am pretty mediocre. I like mainstream things like yoga, working out, healthy eating, hiking and sightseeing. I also love my profession - I am a Systems Analyst!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I love international community and I think its amazing to see other countries though the people and their ways of living. Visiting someone's house is super exciting but having a chance of staying over - is something that wasn't an option before Couchsurfing.

Interests

I love hiking and sightseeing. I want to get better at yoga (that handstand - need to work on that!)
I also tried acro-yoga and still cant get over that experience.
I like trying things.. I may not succeed or stick with it for too long but I will give everything a try.. so far i tried slacklining, orienteering, running, classic fitness, volleyball, judo, fly/jet boards and other things like that

Music, Movies, and Books

I like inspirational books not just stories, I like educational/practical information
I don't watch movies or TV
My musical taste is inconsistent - I have favorite songs in every genre. Music is what always heals me and takes me though the happiest and saddest moments of life.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Yet to do amazing things. But I was very proud of myself
- driving though USA in solitude
- getting 2nd place in Systems Analysis national competition in US

What I Can Share with Hosts

I will bring you a woolly mammoth bone or some other furry souvenir from the coldest place on Earth
