About Me

I love travelling and I'm happy that I can meet so many great people from other cultures.
I'm studying Bioinformatics at the university (Skoltech) and sometimes it's quite hard but I enjoy it :)

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Several years ago my school held a international conference and I met a lot of people from different countries. It was really interesting and unforgettable event in my life :) I especially enjoyed showing Moscow to English students and talking with them about our cultures.
For me couchsurfing is the best way to meet great people and learn about the world. My first travel by couchsurfing was to Kaliningrad (Russia) and it was fantastic! My hosts were unbelievably kind and interesting people and I've never thought that the world is such a friendly place.
I've travelled in Italy by couchsurfing and I will never forget it. I love Italy so much that I dream about living there in the future. I met a lot of great people there and some of them were my hosts :) Without cs it might have been a usual touristic trip, but with cs it positively changed my life and the way I think.

Interests

Science, history and culture of different countries.
I enjoy learning languages, singing, reading poetry and prose.

Music, Movies, and Books

I like watching movies (my favorite directors are Tarkovsky, Bertolucci and Fellini, but I also enjoy old American movies). I somehow fell in love with "Friends" (tv series) and now I almost can't watch other series :D
Music - I enjoy classic rock (Queen, Rolling Stones and others...), Nirvana, Janis Joplin, Pink Floyd... I also like Russian rock and bard-rock. Classical music, blues, jazz and electronics are good too :)

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I've travelled alone by bicycle from Milan to Innsbruck and from Berlin to Amsterdam, I met a lot of great people and understood how beautiful the world is.
I volunteered as an English teacher in Colombia and Ecuador, it was life-changing and taught me a lot :)

What I Can Share with Hosts

I like to cook the typical Russian soup "borsch" and some other Russian dishes

Countries I’ve Visited

Austria, Belarus, Colombia, Ecuador, Egypt, Finland, Germany, India, Italy, Netherlands, Poland, Spain, Sweden, Ukraine

Countries I’ve Lived In

Colombia, Russian Federation
